ReceiptKeeper
ReceiptKeeper sends the receipts you snap to your company on seapay.network. This policy says what the app collects, where it goes, how long it is kept and what you can do about it. It is written to match what the app does today.
SeaPay ReceiptKeeper is published by Nave Magna Ltd. seapay.network, the service it connects to, is operated by Seapay Ltd (company number 14523418, 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom), registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ZB626725). In this policy "we" means both.
Seapay Ltd is the controller of your seapay.network account. The receipts you send belong to the company you send them to: that company decides who sees them and how long they are kept, and we look after them on its behalf.
| Data | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Your email, your password and, if your account uses one, a 6-digit code | To sign you in. The password and code are not kept on the phone. | seapay.network |
| Your account ID, an ID for this iPhone and the public half of a key made on it | So seapay.network knows each receipt really comes from you, on this phone | seapay.network |
| The receipt photos and PDFs you snap or pick | To read them and file them with your company | seapay.network, kept as the company's document · Anthropic, to read them, only with your permission |
| What is read from a receipt: supplier, date, total, VAT, lines, a suggested category | To file the receipt and match it to a payment | seapay.network |
| What you check or correct, and the card payment you snapped a receipt for | So the receipt is filed as you checked it | seapay.network |
| "ReceiptKeeper · iPhone", the device model, when you snapped it and whether you were offline | So the company's records show how each receipt arrived | seapay.network |
Photos are saved again before they are sent, so the location a photo may carry is not sent. ReceiptKeeper collects no location, contacts, browsing history, advertising identifier, usage analytics or crash reports. It has no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking, and we never sell your data or share it for advertising.
When you snap a receipt, the picture goes to seapay.network, which sends it to Anthropic's Claude to be read. It does so under SeaPay's own agreement with Anthropic, or your company's, if your company has one. There is nothing to set up in the app.
Before your first receipt the app asks your permission and names Anthropic. Without it, nothing is sent to Anthropic. You can stop at any time: Me → Receipts → Read on seapay.network → Stop.
seapay.network does not store or log the picture it sends for reading, or Claude's raw answer. The receipt you file is kept as your company's document. Anthropic reads the picture as our service provider under its Commercial Terms and data processing terms. It does not use it to train its models, and keeps it only for the limited time its terms allow before deleting it. Anthropic is in the United States; the transfer is covered by standard contractual clauses, with the UK addendum.
Each of them protects your data to the same standard as this policy, under a written agreement with us.
Signing out deletes all of this from the phone. Deleting the app deletes the rest.
To give you and your company the service you asked for, and for your company's legitimate interest in keeping its accounts. Receipts are read by Anthropic only with your permission, which you can withdraw at any time.
Every connection uses HTTPS. Each receipt is signed with the key made on your iPhone, so nobody can send one in your name. The copy of the company's card payments on the phone is sealed with AES-GCM, with the key in the iOS Keychain.
You can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, object to how we use it, or ask us to delete your account. In the app: Me → Delete my SeaPay account, which emails us for you. Or write to support@seapay.network. We reply within 30 days. Receipts your company must keep by law stay with the company, so ask the company too. In the UK you can complain to the ICO; in the EU, to your data-protection authority.
ReceiptKeeper is a business app and is not meant for anyone under 16.
When this policy changes we update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters, ReceiptKeeper tells you in the app.
