In short: delete your account in the app, from your account menu, or e-mail support@seapay.network. SeaPay deletes it within 30 days and writes to you when it is done.

1. One account for every SeaPay app

You use the same SeaPay sign-in in every SeaPay app. Deleting your account removes it from all of them at once:

  • SeaPay POS on Android and iPhone
  • Paymaster
  • Workstation
  • Controller
  • SeaPay ReceiptKeeper
  • The SeaPay online bank

2. Delete it in the app

  1. 1 Sign in to the app.
  2. 2 Open your account menu and choose “Delete my SeaPay account”.
  3. 3 If you wish, tell us why, in up to 500 characters.
  4. 4 Confirm.

3. Delete it without the app

If you no longer have the app, or cannot sign in, e-mail support@seapay.network from the e-mail address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my SeaPay account”. We may ask you to confirm it is you before we go ahead.

4. What happens next

SeaPay deletes your account within 30 days and writes to you when it is done.

If you ask again within those 30 days, we do not open a new request: your first request stands.

5. What is deleted

  • Your SeaPay sign-in
  • Your e-mail addresses and phone number
  • Your passkeys and connected sign-ins (Google, Apple)
  • Your devices and their keys
  • Your memberships in companies
  • Your push notification tokens

6. What is kept, and why

Records your company must keep by law stay with the company. These include invoices, payments, sales and till reports, and the bank records the company is required to retain under accounting, tax and anti-money-laundering law. They are kept for the period the law sets and then deleted.

How long each kind of record is kept is set out in our Privacy Policy.

7. Company bank accounts

Deleting your SeaPay account does not close a company’s bank account. To close one, contact your account manager or support@seapay.network.
