What is SeaPay Paymaster?

Paymaster is desktop software for yacht operators: the bank accounts and cards you manage, live on your computer, with reconciliation, categories, signed bank and VAT statements and payments.

What is a signed statement?

A bank or VAT statement that carries a signed QR code. Scan it and SeaPay’s verifier checks the signature against SeaPay’s public key, in your browser. Each statement line also carries a QR code that opens its invoice or receipt.

Which banks does Paymaster connect to?

SeaPay, Privat3 Money, Revolut and Wise today — Kasikorn, Cornèr and EU open banking coming soon.

Is my data encrypted?

Yes. A company’s view travels encrypted and is stored encrypted on seapay.network, with the keys kept apart from the website. It opens only for people signed in to SeaPay with the right role, and every opening is recorded.

What do I need to use it?

A Mac (macOS 11 or later) or a Windows 10 or 11 computer and a seapay.network account with the operator role for the company.

How is Paymaster different from Workstation?

Paymaster is the operator’s cockpit for the accounts they manage. Workstation does everything Paymaster does inside a company workspace, with dashboards for every vessel, company and holding, budget, tax, payroll and documents.
